From wall murals…

Liza loves mural design; bespoke artwork direct on interior walls to complement existing fabrics and decor. Featured is ‘Podgey Bears Picnic ©2006’, a large floor to ceiling mural created at the time for her own nursery. Emulsion is a fantastic medium to work with, offering a soft matt finish that easily compliments your decor.

After extensive research to find the best surface to paint on and what protective coating to seal the paint with, Liza decided on a high quality acrylic primed canvas surface and a water-based spray varnish with 90% less solvents for the completed artworks to be made ‘portable’ so they could be delivered out to customers homes, to complete their nursery, playroom or child’s bedroom.

…to canvases

Canvases come in two thicknesses and styles:

  1. High quality mounted 3.8cm deep edge, staple free sides enables the painting to extend to all showing edges. Hanger fitted. No need for framing.

  2. High quality acrylic primed canvas 3mm board, tied with a 2mm waxed cord for hanging.

…to prints

After a successful broad range of designs in the original art collection, Liza J design introduced new product ranges of gorgeous and brightly coloured children’s prints. The original square prints are reproduced from original works of art using RAW images depicted in Photoshop and then printed onto heavyweight 310gsm textured fine art paper, a professional acid-free paper with a scuff-resistant coating. Archival pigment inks are used ensuring a long lasting print. The new style A4 and A3 prints are mounted onto 1.4mm cream core backing board, making it rigid and ideal for modern day framing techniques.

…to cards

After mastering the technique of reproducing original artwork to prints; Liza introduced another product range of greeting cards in 2016. All of the greeting cards still have an aspect of painting, with hand finished glittering or metallic strokes. From 2018 newer characters have been produced using advanced digital software and technology. Greeting cards are printed onto textured fine art card 310gsm and supplied with a white, coloured or recycled brown kraft envelope.
